This is book 2 in Melody Carlson's Whispering Pines series. It picks up from where book one left off - great story!
I chose the rating because I could not put the book down. Melody Carlson draws you in from the first paragraph and holds your attention througout, right up to the last page.
I love Melody Carlson's books and this one did not disappoint me. The small town setting was perfect and the characters were likable. It's a good book to relax with.
I thoroughly enjoyed each book in this series and looked forward to the next one. Was sorry when it ended because I had come to really like the characters but knew it was time to let them move on. Melody Carlson is a writer whose books I now look for when looking for something clean, interesting, exciting and meaningful to read.
This was a compelling read. As you finish one book, you just have to purchase the next book. The story wanders around a little bit but it has so many facets it keeps you riveted all the way through.
Please read these books in order to get the most out of them. LOVE LOVE all of her books she is a good Christen writer, we need more like her.
