I received the book from the author for an honest review.As more questions arise within the book, the more Nadia, and the men in her life, were more determined to find the answers to them. Each time the story delves deeper into the mysteries of the dijnn, their purpose and reasons for living. In book 1, we learned about Lilith, the creation of the Nephilim, and the times before the flood. In book 2, we learned more about the dijnn after the flood and their survival as they tried to build the land once again with the help of humans, taking us to the build of the Temple in Biblical times. In book 3 we learn more about the Greek Mythology, especially the role of Zeus and Poseidon and the ultimate distruction of Atlantis, the Greeks gods and what it has to do with Armageddon. From book 1 - Book 3 the question remained the same: How did Asmodeous plan to stop Armageddon? The way that the author brought all the history known to man together to create this exciting series was truly very creative and unique. I, for one, just loved this whole series.
Nadia, and her team is back, although Will's roll was more at the background, while Nadia, Clive and Gordon tried to find the answers and solutions for the impending disaster. Striking up a bargain with one of thee richest men in the world didn't spell good, and Nadia had to pull all her resources to "win" the day. But, as with every man made plan it backfired and now we must wait for book 4. My word, but Ms. Madore knows how to write!
I really enjoyed the mufti-facet story from beginning to end. Each time we meet a dijnn, I am in wonder about her descriptions of each of these "spirits". Some was heartfelt, and some pure evil. But, at the end they, too, were controlled by the power and greed of human kind doing the will of the one that had the ring.
The never ending love story between Lilith and Asmodeous really touches the heart. Their devotion to each other and the cause the thread that kept everything together.
I must say that I really liked Beth's role as well. She really became a strong character as she, too, try to find the answers to her husband's death.
Really a great series, filled with mystery, the ever present question: is God really out there? Capturing the imagination as you walk through history to discover a world within a world.

I received this ebook free to read and review.
When I started reading this series I thought that it was a trilogy however as this one ends in a to be continued mode and there are more to come I don’t know how many there are to come.
In fact unless you have read the previous ones this is quite difficult to get into as there is no introduction and you are thrown into the story, also unfortunately this one is less of a stand-alone story.
I liked the actual story although it did not have the pace of the previous ones. A substantial amount of the story is a recollection of events from the distant past as told by Poseidon. The part told in the present day does little more than provide continuity.
As a whole the series is good and I will probably read the next one, but hope the pace picks up.
Note I am using “spirits” in this review as an image. What I call “spirits” is more complex and interesting than one word can describe.
This is the third installment in the LEGACY OF THE WATCHERS series of books.
To enjoy and understand this story, you must read these books in sequence, not doing so will spoil things for you.
Each book pulls us deeper into a world populated by spirits that may or may not be friendly.
This book raises the possibility that these spirits may not be a single cohesive group but split into factions each with an agenda.
Groups divide into spirits under someone’s control and those that are free.
The catastrophe that ends “Power of the Gods” destroyed our team on a professional and personal level.
This adds depth to the characters showing an unseen side that is very revealing.
Questions about the spirit’s motives cause some team members to take dangerous chances.
We meet Poseidon, an interesting mix of ego, power and envy upset at being under the power of a person.
The author continues and adds to the interesting mix of mythology, history and prehistory that keep us looking forward to the next book in this series.
The author is very good at telling a story.
The writing is crisp, clean and fun to read.
This is a kick off your shoes, sit back, relax and have fun read.
Masquerade is the third book in the series by Nancy Madore. It continues where the second book leaves off in the story of Nadia and three secret agents who try to stop the evil plans of the "djinn". While this book would be enjoyable by itself, I suggest reading the first two books first to become familiar with the story and the characters.
In this book Nadia is planning a masquerade ball fund raiser to benefit the victims of an earthquake in California. She, Clive, and Gordon are also working behind the scenes to stop an evil plot being carried out by an obscure government agency. Nadia and Will's romance is still going strong, but Nadia finds herself hiding details of what she's actually doing from him. Can Nadia and her friends save the earth from a catastrophic attack by using the Djinns? Or are they just pawns in a plan that was put in motion centuries ago?
I enjoy the author's writing style, with believable dialog and multiple plot lines that keeps me reading until way past my bedtime. I've always enjoyed books written in a series because you begin the next book familiar with the characters and invested in the storyline. There are a couple of new characters introduced in this book, but the others feel like old friends.
I'm looking forward to book four, which will be released in 2015, to find out how the story ends.
